Al Franken: "Obamacare" is a "job killer."

The Senate voted 79 to 20 to repeal Obamacare's medical device tax Thursday evening in a bipartisan budget amendment.
"I want to repeal the medical device tax altogether. But I am concerned that we are running out of time before this job-killing tax goes into effect. So, for now, the best thing to do to ensure that this important industry continues to create jobs and producing life-saving devices is to delay this unwise tax," said Sen

    • Why not, it is a free world and I think it would be a huge step for South East Asia if Malaysia would actually join the race for space exploration. And we South East Asians need to quench our thirst or astronomical discoveries. =)

For instance, creating jobs. Everyone s like omg omg Romney will creatre jobshow? Is he going to drop us down to Chinese standards in order to compete with them? Is he going to increase Tariffs in order tio compete with them? Is he gonna kill off a billion chinese in order to compete with them? Is he going to demand China s withdrawal from the WTO or our withdrawal from the WTO to compete with them? if he doesn t do any of these things than he cannot create jobs. cutting corporate taxes will never be enough to bring jobs back from China, their labor pool is vast and their wages low. Only time …

    • The truth is that unless they did something radical like create a huge job corps, or a total restructure of the tax code, there is very little the government can do. Both of them will talk, but if elected, they will actually just sit and keep the home fires burning hoping the inevitable business cycle will circle around and create a new bubble that they can claim credit for.
